Dry ball mill production process does not need to add water, is a straight cylinder, but also installed with induced draft device, dust exhaust pipe and dust collector. Our factory can design and manufacture other types and specifications of ball mills according to the requirements of users, and also according to the user's ore samples and output and particle size requirements, through grinding experiments and calculations, to determine the appropriate specifications of the type, design of the working state of the ball mill, so that it does not have insufficient function, and to ensure that the output and particle size requirements.

 

Process and Cost Advantages

The overall process may be simpler
For processes requiring a dry powder, the dry grinding process is: crushing → dry ball milling → classification → finished product.
For wet grinding, the process is: crushing → wet ball milling → dewatering → drying → classification → finished product. Dry grinding eliminates the critical intermediate slurry handling step, resulting in a simpler system.
Relatively low wear on grinding media and liners
In wet grinding, water and chemicals can accelerate corrosion and wear of steel balls and liners. In dry grinding, mechanical wear is the primary cause. For certain materials, overall wear costs may be lower than wet grinding.
Relatively low investment and maintenance costs
While dry grinding systems require an efficient dust removal system, their initial investment and ongoing maintenance costs may be more competitive in some cases compared to the complex slurry handling and dewatering equipment required for wet grinding, including concentrators, filters, dryers, pumps, and more.
